HFE microwave blocks

HFE offers a set of automated microwave devices suitable for laboratory and synthetic instrument use.

DLL drivers as well as a simple communication protocol are provided. All Microwave Blocks are controllable by an RS232 interface or RS485 as well. Other communication interfaces can be fitted if required.

RTT-ATT Variable Attenuator

The RTT-ATT series of programmable attenuators offer wide frequency (0.1-20 GHz or 0.1-40 GHz) and attenuation (0-80 dB) ranges. It has been conceived for laboratory application such semiconductor testing, radar targets emulators, radar pulse modulators, and where a precise RF attenuation control is required. An extremely small phase shift over attenuation make this instrument the ideal choice for applications where it is mandatory to control this parameters (D.F., EW, etc.).
Pulse Modulation capability is optional.

RTT-PHS Variable Phase Shifter

The RTT-PHS series of programmable phase shifters offer a wide frequency range (DC-18 GHz) combined with exceptional accuracy. It has been conceived for laboratory application such semiconductor testing, radar targets emulators, radar pulse modulators, and where a precise RF attenuation control is required. An extremely small attenuation variation over delay position and frequency make this instrument the ideal choice for applications requiring precise phase shifting with no magnitude variation.

RTT-FIL Variable band-pass Filter

The RTT-FIL series of programmable pass-band filters offer wide frequency ranges (five models covering 0.5-50 GHz), combined with excellent selectivity and stability. The filters are YIG-based, and excellent repeatability is achieved using state-of-the-art YIG current control circuit and internal calibration. The RTT-FIL series has been conceived for laboratory application such semiconductor testing, receivers preselection, and where a reliable microwave band-pass filter is required.
